A guy from another crew where I work jumped out of the work truck as it was going down the highway doing 75 this morning. Still alive so far but they flew him to a neurologist. Probably will die.

jumped out? pretty stupid way to try and commit. he gets what he gets.

Hell yeah. The details aren't in yet, but damn, what a way to do it. Didn't know the guy very well. He's only been there a couple weeks and seemed ok. He's well known in the business though.

Reminded me of my friend….We were doing the tobacco crops, I didn’t see him because I was the kiln hanger but saw him later with all scratches over him. He was in the back of a truck when he loose his hat and on a reflex, not a clever one, went to grab it…outch!

He died yesterday.

why did he jump out of a truck?

No one knows for sure. All they are saying is that he jumped. But there is a rumor that he may have been pushed.

to jump out of something moving that fast must be pretty dumb, i think he was pushed too.

Yeah, I believe that was what finished him off.

Err, yeah. I just can't think of anyone on that crew that seems capable of that. I've known all but one of them for years. Could be it was that one, but it's anyones guess.
