web2zone Cyber Center in NYC (http://www.web2zone.com/play), host of the recent CPL World Tour Finals, and Creative's SoundBlaster (http://www.soundblaster.com) are proud to present the Quake 4 fatal1ty Challenge on Friday, December 9th from 6pm to 9pm.

This is fatal1ty's first return to Quake in New York since the World Cyber Games USA qualifier in 2002, where he performed in one of the most amazing Quake 3 matches ever witnessed vs. fellow American cha0ticz.

No entry fee required, but web2zone’s regular station rates apply (see http://www.web2zone.com/play/prices.asp).

The winners of the web2zone tournament will then proceed to one of four local shootout events held at select CompUSA retail store in the NYC on Sat & Sun (December 10 -11). At CompUSA, winners will get to play against the CPL World Tour champion himself, Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel. Only the top 12 placing winners from the web2zone tournament will move on to the CompUSA events, plus the top eight (8) will get the following prizes:

1st place - Creative Gigaworks Pro-gamer G500Speakers + Webcam Live! Ultra + QUAKE 4 Game CD
2nd place - MuVo TX FM 1G + SBS Vivid 80 + QUAKE 4 Game CD
3rd place - MuVo TX FM 256MB + Fatal1ty Gaming Pad + QUAKE 4 Game CD
4th place - MuVo TX FM 256MB + QUAKE 4 Game CD
5th place - Creative Inspire T2900 + Freepoint Electra Mouse
6th place - Creative Inspire T2900 + Freepoint Electra Mouse
7th place - NC1212 Headsets
8th place - NC1212 Headsets

Additional prizes can be won at the CompUSA fatal1ty shootout, including the latest Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty card.

Locations for the CompUSA shootout:

- Garden City: 623 Stewart Ave. Dec 10th, 10:00 am
- Queens: 97-77 Queens Blvd. Dec 10th, 3:00 pm
- Broadway: 1775 Broadway, Dec 11th, 10:00 am
- 5th Ave: 420 5th Avenue, Dec 11th, 3:00 pm

Additionally, web2zone will be looking to host a QUAKE 4 (1v1) tournament in early January with Cash and Product Prizes. Registration, date and event details to be announced soon on http://www.web2zone.com/play.

If interest is shown and player turn-out is large, web2zone will look to host many more Quake 4 tournaments . . . with bigger purses, and a possibility of TDM and CTF along with it for the East Quake 4 community.
