cann't move in quake 3

:icon23: just got new compter p4 3.06 533 fbs 512ram 128 video with xp
my problem is just loaded up quake three and i can not move forward or switch guns i can look around and zoom and fire but that is it i reinstalled twice now and same thing pleace heklp :icon23: i need my quake

Are the keys properly set in the controls menu?

if all else fails delete the q3config.cfg file found in /quake3/baseq3/ and restart q3.

Aren't the arrow keys the default keys to move in Q3?

Heh in any case I love how Q3W is always friendly to the newcomers to the game. No hassle just help them out.
If this was a counter-strike forum there would be a ton of 'OMG N00B J00 NOT L33T LIK3 M4 PHE4R!!!!' posts. :icon32:

maybe it's because 90% of the people that post here are still newbies themselves. bought the game WAY BACK in '99 and played FFA for 3 months...OSP?
