i know this has been covered before, but i am not sure what the outcome is/was.

My situation is as follow's, i have the following system:

Intel Celeron-D 330 @ 3.9GHZ
512megs Kingston DDR-400
WD 200gig SATA
Asus P4P800-e Deluxe
MSI FX-5200 128meg
Logitech Z-5300-e's

so yea, when i am not watching TV ( this is my media center btw ) i notice the sounds of FAn's through the speakers, it litterly sounds like blades running by your ear.
i am using the Built on Audio, with the latest drivers, the only Fans on the thing are two: The HSF (running at 70% ) and another fan that i have suspended blowing on the videocard.

I have it syspended with a PCI Filler plate that has a hole in it, i bent it so it was straight, and inline with the GPU.

as for the HSF, its a Coolermaster Aero 7+, More info here: http://www.thetechlounge.com/articles.php?id=48

My sound system filters all the noise that I hear if I connect my headphones directly... so I dunno. Btw, do u run HDTV with that computer?
