Q4 Demo Problems

I downloaded a demo off of challenge-tv and extracted it to my Q4 base folder. When I entered the game and tried to play the demo it stopped and gave me this message in the console...
Game Map Shutdown
Stopped Demo Playback
ERROR: Failed to spawn entity with classname 'player_ui_anims' of type 'idPlayer'
What should I do?

Maybe play the full game you supposedly own.

anyways, kind of a wierd error. you are running the patch i presume?
could be the demo is borked.

It could be that the demo is calling a mod or map which he doesn't have installed too.

i think i've played one demo since i got q4. not having the right mod could probly give you some wierd errors.

Yeah I'm talking out of my ass since I haven't actually run a demo in Q4 yet but it would stand to reason.

Ah shit I didn't read the caption below the demo. I forgot to turn on Q4Max before playing it. Nvm guys, sorry lol
