I remember everyone used to post their tests from some graphics test to see how their video card and everything else works..
what website was that? i just upgraded and i wanna try it out.

hey thanks man..
also, I figure why make another topic, but I need help reconfig'ing my q3 again cause I forgot it all...
basically I just want to know:
how to make the console come down faster instead of waiting for it to scroll
how to disable playing the id intro everytime
how to make it so that if I go into setup and controls, when I come back out.. my scroll wheel will still work instead of becoming disabled, very annoying when I'm trying to figure everything out again.

what's up everyone.. it's been a long time.
where do I put those commands.. in my .cfg file and shit.. man my whole computer used to be dedicated to quake3, now I can't remember anything

also.. what files do I need to get? what's the latest point release and I know they use like anti-hacking files and shit now too.. I'm so out of the loop.. I just want to play my friend tonight since I upgraded and he talks a lot of shit lol.

you guys are awesome.. if any of you still play I'd be down to try and touch up my skills again.
what fuckin sucks is I just spent like 80 bucks on a new mouse (logitech mx 1000 laser mouse) and it has like 8 buttons that neither quake3 or doom3 recognize so it's like.. what the fuck is the point :-/

another question, I just picked up a ati (ew) radeon 9600xt 128mb.. it was farely cheap but I just wanted something minimal to play the newer games, what is the standard for games like right now.. or to play quake4 or something?
