so, was testing my cfg in q4. i have f9-11 bound to buttons 4, 5, and 6 on my mouse, and screenshots bound to f11/button6. i hit button 6 and my mouse sens nearly halves itself. i was using setpoint 2.31 at the time and this has happened to me before. quit to desktop and sure enough my overall sens is out of whack so i reboot, which has fixed this in the past, but no go, still slowed.
uninstall setpoint, search for cpl regfix for xp and apply and reboot. reset my cfgs to match their sens from while using setpoint and everything is fine....until i hit button6 again while browsing and sure enough my sens is gone again but not as bad. reboot and all is fine but for how long i do not know.
just downloaded the latest setpoint but havent installed it yet. anyone have any solutions before i do?

wow lol just figured out what happened. its the + and - buttons, not button 6 i hit and its adjusting the sens. i can raise and lower it but i didnt think that was possible without setpoint installed.
anyone know how to get rid of that shit?

Click the rook icon and set it to OS Implementation for speed and acceleration.

Or you can keep the setpoint implemetation on and click the advanced game settings and set up for your games through there.
This way you can turn off mouse accel for games.

Frag's is right and you may want to reinstall setpoint in order to rebind those buttons. On the 518, your dpi is controlled at the hardware level via those two buttons by default. DPI isn't driver-dependent like it is with the 510's and earlier.

well thats kind of a bummer but i think i can use it to my advantage; for zoom in both q3 and q4.
so i guess what was happening was, for whatever reason the setpoint was going back to the hardware defaults though i had those buttons bound differently. i guess i can try the latest version to see if they got it right.
and sorry frag, i misunderstood.

Yup. I was hoping you'd re-instal setpoint. I probably would have explained it better but I had to rush out the door.
