Now with q4 an' all, wondering who's still going with the q3 scene?

Find i'm still playing q3 regularly, expecially now i'm getting better and not spending all my time getting wasted.

I won't be playing q4 until i get more memory, i discovered mp does work, but there really is no point at the moment.

ps, i would put a poll but for some reason i aint allowed...

Still playing 1v1. Currently testing an alpha level design, so I'm getting in quite a bit of practice.

q4 demo ran like SHIT on my rig, so i won't be wasting any money on it. i still pwn bots on a listen when i'm bored, that's it tho. no time to waste with online stuff.

all the default maps run like the fps maps, better in some cases, with vertexlight 1 enabled in q4max. so basically, double your fps from the demo and there you go.

it wasn't an fps issue. the entire program would freeze for about 15-30sec at a time. after i'm done installing debian on my old box i might bother trying new vid&sound drivers. for now, fuck it. lame q2 remake anyway.

i would much rather be playing q3 online than q4. but if i can get a decent framerate without having to drop a wad of cash (ie q4max improves performance just a bit more) on a new system ill continue to check it out.

i have a feeling q4 will not last and we will see another minor rebirth of q3 in NA. EU will continue to play q3.

I'll probably buy q4 in a few days so I'll switch to q4 when that does happen.

I play Q3 on a regular basis.
Q4 does not amuse me atm.
I'm afraid there comes a point were I kinda have to
switch though

I havent played both q3/q4 in months.

Been playing Freeze tag every night for the last few months and sometimes some promode. I am checking out all the Q4 stuff that's coming out though (maps, major mods and good cpl demos).

I bought Q4 and was ready to mod for it. but since it doesnt support bots, which I need for modding Multiplayer to test, it makes not much sence, so I stay on Q3A, since modding is one thing to let me stay with a game.

If Raven does include bot support with a coming patch I maybe switch.

Well i think i recall i thread about some early q4 bots, so it's looking good. I'll see if i can find it.

Hey i got quake 4 and 4 some reason it dont run on pc, anyway, you cant beat quake 3.
