it's in beta form, no support. you may have to edit the .bat file if your os install is not C:\ .

you psp and ipod video owners should love this app.

for both nvidia+ati users.

edit: new link

The link you have is in german, is the prog from that download also in german? Also how long does it take to convert DVD to DivX? Any idea?

I installed it but I got some error in the dos window about some dll not registering. Also it didn't make any shortcuts, I found it in C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies. When I run AvivoXCode, I get An "ATI X1K graphics cards is required to run this software"

I had 5.11 drivers with CP, do you need 5.13 beta with CCC or something?

How is it quality-wise?

quality wise it's not the best out. if you want the fastest with decent quality, this is it.

@bluegene. i dunno what the problem is. i don't have a x1k card. running an 800xtpe here. from what i have read there are nvidia peeps running it as well.

edit: i'm on 5.12's btw. it shouldn't make a difference as it runs of the cpu not gpu.

I see, well I'm going to try 5.12 and give this another try.

they're going to have to do ALOT of work if they think they can be better than TMPG

I think you need Catalyst Control Center, because it doesn't start up on with 5.12 Control Panel I get some error. Don't know, I downloaded it from another source because the german link says you need x1k type of card.

nope you don't need control center.

watson- yeah it's not a real sophisticated app thats for sure. but man is it fast.

at minimum, 2X the speed of any current app.

check the new download link at the top bluegene. it may be the version you need for non-x1k cards.

fucking sites carrying wrong files.

I found that link before, tried it but it doesn't work. I run setup it moves/registers all the files but then at the end I get this error msg.

Image

When I run AvivoXCode I get a a error msg. "TODO: <File description> has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry fo rthe inconvenience."

It's supposed to use gpu for encoding video now I think? (with 5.13 cats at least) which might be why it's so fast... other apps like tmpg don't utilize the gpu do they?

i could care less about speed... i want quality and features.

if you tell TMPG to use the speedy settings its just as fast, but the output is junk.
