Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a new video card, The one I have sucks. The games I play are Quake 3, Half Life, and Team Fortress.

Heres my card specs

Chip Type: Trident Blade 3D/MVP4
DAC Type: Intergrated RAMDAC
Memory Size: 8MB
Adapter Swing: Trident Video Accelerator
Bios Information: 6 Y 6.00(2502.1

The games run ok but its looks dark and choppy looking. I'm not looking for a top of the line card, just a card for about 30 bucks or less that I can run these games and so it looks good and no lags.

Thanks,
Eddie

In other words its time to get a better video card. Onboard video cards don't perform well enough to play most games.

I had a TNT2 back in '00, when I started playing Q3. It gave me a steady 60fps, great stuff.
