I'm looking for a free converter just so I can make a music CD that someone can play in their car, standard CD audio format. I could probably find one but I'm curious as to what the best free one is.

Make an Audio cd in Nero and it will convert the MP3's itself. Easy CD creator too.

Ok, you can't just make .cda files and it will play in a car, it must be burnt in a redbook format (cd format) which also has a toc of sorts on there too...
