how do i record demos online

what is the right way to record a demo online, and also, how can i watch it. do i need any 3rd party programs? i tried recording a demo and watching it but it was going slow then fast and doing wierd shit. i did something wrong. any help?

Hmm try demo_enforceFS 1 then play the demo. I cant even get my own demos to play back so take that advice with a grain of salt however... :icon26:

whats the difference between netdemo and demo? should i always record with netdemo when online? im so confuzzzed.... :\

afaik netdemo produces a much smaller demo file - and yes most people seem to use netdemo for games etc etc (perhaps keeping demo for movie making ideas and the like ?)
If i wasnae so pissed i might have found the exact sizes of files etc etc - but settle for a Upset chaps link, and bookmark their site, as it will come in handy

ok thnx guys now one more thing
how do i go back and forward (like timescale in q3) so i can record certain parts with fraps without having to restart everytime
