I am buying new pc soon....so I think I am going to buy this configuration....but first I want to hear your opinion....

- Pentium Intel4 BOX 630 3.0GHz, 64-bit, 800MHz, 775-pin, 2MB
- MB Gigabyte 8I945P-G, s775, i945P, DDR II, GLAN
- 1 GB DDR2 RAM @ 533 mhz
- HDD Maxtor 6Y160M0, S-ATA150, 160 GB/8MB/7200rpm
- Gainward Ultra/1980 TV/DVI GS, GF 6600GT PCIE, 256MB, TV-out, DVI ( 128-bit DDR3, 500/1050 mhz )

It's not full configuration list....but I wrote the most important part of it....so any tips, opinions, please answer....

Thank you very much!!!

p.s I am on 900-1000$ budget for whole conf, so don't suggest me to buy something way over my possibilities....

Gaming is not most important thing....but I would really like to play q4 ( and quake wars if possible ) without any problems....and with all of those aa's and af's off....don't need those fx's turned on at all....

But music producing and composing is more important to me....

I'd recommend the dual-core AMD64s then.

:icon14: Music production is pretty processor/memory intensive. Plus a lot of these new games will actually take advantage of dual core 64's.

What do you guys think about that graphic card I wrote up there in first post....??? And is it better than this one:

VGA PCI-E SAPPHIRE ATI Radeon X1600 XT, 256 MB DDR3, tv-out, DVI ( http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/spec ... ?SAP-X16XT )

Or not???

Thats quite a bit more money than a 6600GT and would push the budget way over. If you're going to post then at least read the topic and make it relevant.

The 1600 would definitely perform better than a 6600GT.

The Nforce chipset will serve you well.

I'm not sure why you went with the x2 3800. A faster single core processor would have been better.

I'm not that up on ATI. But wouldn't an Nvidia card work better with an Nforce chipset.

That generic PSU may cause you problems down the road. Words of wisdom for your next purchase. "Never skimp on your PSU."

I am more into pro music than in games....and tests showed that single core cpu on nForce 4 mb have a lot of problems and gfx and cpu choke audio interface ( sound card )....that's why I go with dualcore, it doesn't choke sound....and I chosen ATI because this gfx is best buy....excellent perfomance's....it's not X1800 XT or GF7800, but still better than 6600 and 6800....
