Tech-to-speech engine in xp plays in fast mode...

Anyone know why it plays really fast? So fast that it sounds garbled in Ventrillo.

Is the sampling rate setting set properly? I've seen several programs that dont properly configure the system's sampling rate, and as such they run a 44.100khz signal at a 48khz timing, and the sound gets squeezed instead of downsampled, causing everybody to sound like chipmunks.

You can adjust the speed at which it talks.
