BF2 and ASE

When I attempt to enter a bf2 server through ASE, it just launches BF2 to the main menu. What am I doing wrong?

it hasent worked from when they started that message BS at the menu
"OMG WE ARE GOING TO RELEASE ANOTHER EXPANTION,LOL! TO MAEK MORE MONEYS! DOLLAH DOLLAH BILLZ YALL!"

Yeah going through all that shit at the start is what's pissing me off, was hoping i could bypass it with ASE, darn

i havent found a way, give Gwamps a shout and see if he knows of a way... i ended up giving up and using the In-game pos..
maby that was there plan?

Most likely it was.
I've too gave up and now i use the ingame browser. It would be nice to use ASE though.
