RAM

I know that RAM can go bad, but is it usually a result of a faulty DIMM slot or jsut random luck of the draw.

Just had it happen to me and I'm not sure if the motherboard needs to be replaced as well. Works fine with a new stick of RAM. Blue screens with the old one.

Prolly just the RAM, if another stick works fine then your mobo is working fine. Soyou should be good now.
