Thats a pretty nice doublestandard. On one hand you live in Canada and enjoy the freedom, healthcare, education, and safety of this nation. On the other hand you like to talk tough about fighting, genocide, and war even though you're unwilling to actually live in Iran. The mean body mass index was 22.8 +/- 4.6 (+/- SD) for mean and 23.6 +/- 6.6 (+/- SD) for women. Men had their highest BMI in their late forties and women did so in their early fifties. The prevalence of overweight (body mass index > or = 85th reference percentiles) among urban 15-39 and 40-69 year olds is estimated at about 22% and 40% respectively.
And another study from the journal Ethnicity & Disease (2005 Spring;15(2):213-20):
Turkish women had substantially higher body mass index (BMI), larger waist, higher waist/hip ratio and sagittal abdominal diameter, higher levels of serum triglycerides, and lower HDL cholesterol concentration compared with Swedish-born women. A similar tendency was seen also for Iranian women.
