I heard they were going to make it also patch DNF.

U mean they are releasing a patch? I just assumed since they didn't care to finish the game prior to release, they would just forgo the patches and move on to quake 5. My bad.

I have given up waiting on them, ra3 is much more fun and the single populated canadian server had more ppl tonight then i saw playing q4 on pub in all of NA so... yeah.

EDIT: will in case anyone missed it, rgoer stepped up and stated that its been delayd for reasons out of the developers hands or something along those lines...

props to rgoer for renewing my faith in this game. I'll hold out a little longer to see if id/raven pulls through.

I do. I missed it. It wasn't last night, it was this morning. Some time after 6:40 am pasific.

Oh, well at least that's good to hear. Kind of... I posted that i was hoping for a release from Raven that's not another map pack or something like that, but purely a patch that rehabilitates the playability of the game.

Indeed, someone like a random alt nick, posting from an internet cafe or something, running through a few proxies so that their actual identity cant be determined and therefore suffer the reprecussions of some nazi money grubbing publishers who I choose to blame for all of the problems in Q4...

They must release it as soon as possible otherwise Q4 Community will dead.

Aye. It seems like Raven can't afford provide that kind of openness, perhaps because they're restricted too much in how much time they are allowed to spend on patching Q4. We can only guess about it.

Perhaps the mods should understand that the enjoyability of reading the forums for the innocent majority of users is a bigger responsibility than deliberately allowing spammers/trolls to become bigger idiots by letting them repeat their stupidity day in day out.

At least these forums are semi-optimistic. If you read Raven's Quake 4 forum you'd think that Quake 4 was the crime of the century and the end is near.
