System Restore

Is there a way to use system restore in Windows 2000 Pro?
Or a way to reset the registry to anotther date.

No, System Restore isn't a feature of 2K. Heres a link on how to backup and restore the registry though:

system restore sucks anyway. Manual backing up is the best
system restore in xp is worse, as it nukes binaries of other applications installed trying to encourage you to reinstall them.

No, that isn't the case. System restore will eliminate the registry hooks of applications installed since the restore point and thats all.
