How would i turn off the mouse option that when you press ctrl you get a spiral around the mouse?
I thought it was in control panel > mouse but it isn't there and i can't seem to find it anywhere else.
TIA

I think it must have something to do with my mouse software, using the latest for an mx510. Pretty sure the settings were there before i got it...

I have a Logitech Mx700. I have a pointers tab, but no option for 'show mouse location'.

i have a pointer tab, but as you said, no option for "show mouse location" either, the only option I have is "enable pointer shadow". Strange.

Ah, sorry. Went home for the weekend.
I assume that you enabled the option while using intellipoint drivers and have now switched to mouseware?
I think you will need to switch back to the intellipoint drivers, disable the option, then revert back to your mouseware drivers.
Or alternatively locate the registry entry for this setting and alter it manually. The first option is probably quicker.
I don't see that option in mouseware either.

"I assume that you enabled the option while using intellipoint drivers and have now switched to mouseware? "
That's exactly what i did, and when i installed the new software i presumed it would still have all these settings.
I think it's going to have to be option one, but where could i get the required intellipoint drivers? :S
edit: nvm, installing the old software now, hope all goes well \o/
