Connection Interuption

Help please. When I was on dial up I had no problem connecting to any Q3A servers. Now I am on Broadband and am forever getting a connection interuption. Max_Packets_usercmd.
Cant find anything anywhere to help with this, but I have tried altering my SNAP and MAXPACKETS from 30 30 to 100 125 and other numbers in between.
