Howabout a mass standardization of all mp3 files and tags?

You know, where everyone stops fucking around with the filenames and keeps it simple.

Band Name - Song of the Whatever.mp3/ogg/whatever isn't too difficult, I don't need the whole id3 tag written into the filename.

I don't need to know that -=/{[KLI]}\=- encoded the mp3, and I'm pretty sure it's spelled Bodom, not bodem.

Original Artist and Composer do not need to be filled in when the song is neither a cover nor classical. Well, maybe composer if you were to list the last names of the band members who write said song.

Also, keeping bitrate to a 192 VBR minimum would be enormously great.

Limewire should look into this.

I think original artists should have control over tags. That way, I won't have to see "Soundgarden - Hunger Strike.mp3" any more.

Oh, btw, ordered myself a nice black 30 gig vid-yo iPod.

...of course, I had "Hey look, I'm trendy now!" engraved on the back.
