Audio CD Ripping Software

I haven't had to use any of this software in a long time, can anybody recommend a good program? Preferably something that does high quality VBR.

Oddly, i use Windows Media Player with the MP3 plugin..

Exact Audio Copy. Lots of options though but with fairly clear descriptions.

yes, this with LAME encoder will make very nice VBR's

Oh yeah, I remember that's the software I used to use. Just started using iTunes, but that stuff is much better.

yeah i still stick to EAC with LAME. hasn't really failed me yet. i'd seek juggs or daves opinion on the matter though. they seem to know their shit from the shit in that area, at least they used to.

CDEX +lame is great for "copy controlled" CDs. EAC often have problems with those.
