Well I now have Fedora Core 4 working well, display drivers and all programs installed as I like, not to mention I got it on a 7,200 RPM HDD instead of the 5,400 RPM drive it was on. There are however two problems. First, I have the latest FF, 1.5.0.1 however it is in a .tar.gz and I do not know how to install it so that is functions and replaces my curren 1.0.7 FF install. Second while my Logitech MX510 works for the most part, I have become used to using the side buttons to go back and forward while browsing the web, however in Fedora it does not seem to mkae it do that, so does anyone know what to change to make it work?
Thanks, I have learned a good bit about Linux, but am still basically a newb.

1) `tar xfz /path/to/archive.tgz`, then `cp` or `mv` as you see fit.*
2) Is your mouse connected through USB or PS/2?

* On a side note, I keep my FF in $HOME/opt (as do the other users) so everyone can use his or her preferred build without interfering with the others.
