Do any of you guys know of very good data recovery programs for drives that have been formatted?
I have tried a few from google, but they don't recover the needed files.
Have tried pc inspector, getdataback

EasyRecovery
I bought the lite version and it only recovers 25 files at a time.
So I went the geoff way and got the full version.

On the free side I've always tried this little program before *purchasing* a hardcore program.

For what I've needed it for it has always been successful.
Worth a shot anyway.

Hmmm...that one seems like it just recovers files from the recycle bin.

Seems like I have pulled stuff from formatted floppies with it before.
That's why i say it's 'worth a shot'
Edit: Having just tested it on a formatted floppy, it did not work.... so nevermind.
That must have been when I had Easy Recovery 5.

I've used GetDataBack and can also confirm that the program works as intended. It was $79 very well spent.
