Memphis' post in another thread got me thinking. Traffic here seems to eb and flow, leading me to wonder how/why people browse here.

I typically keep the forum loaded all day while I work and check it whenever I'm not busy. I'll occasionally check from home as well, especially if there's a particularly interesting discussion place. Actually now that I think about it, every time I get online I tend to check this place. As for why, fucked if I know.

It's my homepage, so I see new threads every time I open Firefox (I don't leave the browser running). I middle mouse click each thread that's interesting, read/post in them, then close them all and go on my way.

As for why? Well, after being a member for 5 years, it's kind of hard NOT to come back here.

I only browse for about 5 minutes, or 10 minutes if it's the second time that I've been browsing that day and I can hold out a bit longer. 3rd time's only 5 minutes again, because by then I'm getting sore.

i lurk in the shadows... i started coming here about 6 or so years ago and to this day it is the only forum i read on a daily basis. I come on here basically whenever I got nothing better to do (which is often) after i check break.com for a good laugh or two and cant handle another round of gaming. I am not sure what keeps bringing me back, probably all the cool inter-drama that goes on here.

these forums used to be almost the only site I ever visited, besides links to other sites from here.
Lately I have been dropping by but not posting. k i'm done typing now.

I read most threads most days if I spend some time by the computer. Sometimes I'm busy at work or don't turn on the computer at home, then it happens that I don't come here for a couple of days.

i check the inter-drama status most times i open FF, plus GD (and LEM if anyone's added to the screenshots thread)

bit of light entertainment whilst wasting some time

if im chatting to someone on msn, downloading, playing a game or whatever ill keep this open in the background with a few other pages which ill be looking at

I usually lurk and read most of the topics in Gen. Disc. once a day. Anything interesting is being talked about, I'll come back for a second round of viewing later on.

I usually stop in here for one or two half hour intervals every day or so. I'll have a quick look to see who needs putting in their place in rants and raves and see if there's anything worth responding to in general discussion.

have it open at work all the time, refreshing whenever i have nothing else to do. at home i usually only check before going to bed or when im really bored.
i mostly check GD cause thats where most the fun is at (IMO). the occasional R&R lurking for some laughs, but season 2 of Drummerman and his sidekick Budgieboy is really getting stale

First place i go to and it's open constantly unless i REALLY need to get work done.

I always keep it tabbed incase of emergency boredom. I browse/lurk around now and then middle clicking any threads that interest me. And when i'm really bored I visit spam.

I'm oddly addicted to this place.

I've kicked the habit of checking and posting the forums daily (mostly since I don't have the time for it anymore). Just the occasional visit, it's still in the bookmarks bar

Only when I'm not at work as there's no way too there. If I'm home then I'm pretty much here. I'll check sporadically(sp) whilst doing other things.

Did you have your (qw)FIX today?

I check GD and R&R a few times a day.

Yep. Might even have extras.

I have it on a preloaded tab. I check a few times a day..more if there is good inter-drama or if its a slow day.

Pretty much addictive.
I've been here for just over a year now and left my homework aside almost completly. Unbelieavable, almost scary. Spring is coming, may be I will spend more time on my house and my new/old Jeep. But I like to see all of you in here.

Step One: Break From School
Step Two: Rediscover the fact that I have no friends and my family doesn't care
Step Three: Ubarspam boards till very last minute of break
Step Four: School For A few months, untill the next break.

you seem like a pretty decent guy here, why don't you have friends? Are you fucking elephant-piss-flaps ugly or something?

And my habits are twice a day, during lunch or the meal Homer discovered between breakfast and brunch break, and at night.
