is there a way to spoof the date of an email?

Is there way to make an email that I send show an earlier date that it was sent at? Like if I send an email today, is it possible to make its "sent" date March 9th? Maybe by changing my computer clock?

Well changing my computer clock does work actually, look, this is a test email I sent myself at 9:47 pm:
From : ...
Sent : March 10, 2006 6:47:11 PM
To : ...
Subject : test email

hey, if its that simple to do it, more power to you. but there are some other issues yuo are overlooking.

I've just sent an email to ur hotmail account, check it if u can, it should date from the year 2000.

But you know there's got to be something under the visible surface that actually shows when the email was written and sent. Like a watermark or someshit like that.

Forget the sent part, look at the other info.
