16% body fat - Am I a fat fuck?

I've been to the doctor for the first time in years a couple days ago, and apart from freaking out because of the amount of muscle enzymes in my blood (900 where 190 is normal, it's down to 300 now though) he told me I was fat.

I weigh 72 kg and I'm 170 cm tall (or short, rather), and apparently, that's fat.
So today I bought a scale, stepped on it, and it turns out I have 16 % body fat and 64 % body water. So I'm fat, right?
Funny thing is he also told me to stop working out because of those muscle enzymes, whatever those are.

Well acccording to your BMI you're not overweight, but it's close (24.9), that's not totally accurate and the bodyfat % is the better indicator, I wouldn't say 16%'s all that awful but it could be a bit lower, I think around 14% is a reasonable level for a man (unless you're looking for a six pack in which case it's below 10%).
For the record I'm 5'11" (180.3cm) and upward of 189lb (85.7kg) (BMI 26.4) and most of the time I'm verging on a six pack. Meaning I could sit on Carl and he wouldn't be getting up soon. Hey DC baby.

Beat my under-weightness, 1.80m and 62kg. Like busetibi, I can't find a way to put on significant weight

Maybe I should visit my doctor for the first time in a year, and see if he has to answer to make me put on weight. If he tells me I'll live longer with this body mass, I'll eat him to put on weight.
Anyway, back to the point, they do often calculate "fatness" by looking at the amount of body fat, but I don't have a clue what the percentage is when they consider you fat.

How did he test your bodyfat? Did he use skinfolds, BMI, hydrostatic weighting, etc?
A lot of these methods (except for hyrdostatic weighting) are based on formulas that are very very generalized. Basicly, if you work out at all, you will have a "fat" BMI.

I will: 195 cm and 68 kg. I don't look all that skinny, though (I'm starting to get a beer belly, for the love of God).
