I've seen it twice already! Here's my comment for now: Interesting use of William S. Burrough's work...I LOVE the music choices made by The Sopranos' team!!!!

Yeah, but at least there are 20 episodes instead of the usual 12-14 (HBO said 12 now, 8 more later).

Now, shall we discuss Carmella rubbing her porshe cayenne in less fortunate women's faces? Except she was SO jealous that Angie Bumpanserra had bought a gorgeous new car for HERSELF! :olo:

I barely skimmed the posts in here because I haven't seen it.

I'm going to have my bro get it on DV-R for me...

$10 says it's the season played out in reverse.

Now whatever that means, I have no idea. I didn't watch.

GAWD! I hope not!

Although if it was they would probably do it right :)

I found that episode to be very commercial. First with Nestle, then FedEx, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Armani sunglasses, the Corvette, etc...

You might be on to something there.
Notice how in the show he was constantly eating.
Then they had the little scene where he keeps taking off his clothes until he gets down to the weight he wants....

I don't think he's dead by any means though...

Also, poor Gene...he really felt he had no way out....

ETA: Never mind, he knew what he was getting into when he got "made"....

I agree, but the "RAT" part threw a new twist into that too.
He actually did the one thing he could do to salvage the whole mess! He helped his wife and son and he also helped Tony!

Earlier at the restaraunt Tony says "Can't I ever get a break"
and then that other stoolie has a heartattack will infroming in the FBI agents car! LOL he doesn't know how many breaks he is getting! :)

I hope the last 8 won't be 18 months away like last time.

Very interesting, I knew something like that was going to happen, crazy old man. Now perhaps he should listen to his sister. As for all the close calls with the feds, can you believe the luck on this guy? I heard the second episode was powerful, I can't wait.
