crucial and patriot 2x1gb dual channel kits can be had for $199 cdn.

these are the 2-3-2-5 performance modules btw.

ncix.com and newegg as well i assume. if you don't see the $199 on ncix, subscribe to the newsletter and go through the email you get.

gonna grab me some patriot and sell my 3x512 sticks before they are obsolete.

DDR1 is becoming obsolete in itself actually. Not really performance wise yet (due to DDR2's high latencies), but AMD's upcoming socket AM2 cpu's and Intel's new mobo's use DDR2 ram.
