Raven might've taken Id hostage since everyone is mad at raven and everyone is rooting for Id.

How in the world does Activision not know that this patch is coming and prepare for it ahead of time ? We've all been waiting for it for months.

You can only do what you can do with what little time you have. It's not like id played the game when it shipped like everybody else, and was all outraged at what it turned out to be. They knew exactly what they were shipping. It's just not right to put all the blame on Raven.

Well, I guess I would put the blame on whoever decided to focus so much on single player and not give much effort to the multiplayer game. They could have balanced their time more evenly.

apsolutly...
they should of done multiplayer first and than do the crapy sp...
i mean,. if you're a quake fan,.. you're most probably a fan becouse of mp... 95%....
and sp is something you play once and throw away, most probably download as warez and buy it only if it's crazy good (i'm a huge id fan, fps, quake fan) but face it quake sp is really crappy, especialy if you're a mp player (doom is another story, it's a good sp couse it scares the crap out of you :P)..
so the people that are gonna buy the game, at least by my side of view, and ppl that i know, are ppl that are gonna play it on-line..
in that sense q4 is a total failure, unless they fix it good, doesn't matter if it's gonna take time..

I bought the game, haven't played even 1 minute of single player. I could care less. Aren't you glad you spent so much time on it Raven?
