and this is what I am considering

http://www.suzukicycles.com/Products/M50K6/Default.aspx

just some small backround info about meh:

used to ride bikes years ago but nothing that big ( I know this is not even considered big in the western culture)

I like the cruiser-like feel and look, so don't try to turn me into a crotch rocket rider , and I am not really a harley fan cause I find them way to flashy and filled with extra fat which I find very unatractive, so stay within content.

my question is, has anyone ever riden one of these , or do you have any experiance with cruisers? what to look for what to avoid, etc. I have a POS car but other than that I am aiming towards using this puppy for main transportation (70% of the time) I live in the outskirts of a city but I wont be doing much highway driving.

IMO, the looks are there the power of 800cc is enough and the price is right. Am I missing something?

Checkout this forum: http://www.msgroup.org/forums/mtt/default.asp

Lots of info there and some really good people.
I ride a 750 Kawasaki cruiser as my primary vehicle and I love the thing to death. And you can't beat the cost of gas!

I too am buying a new one soon!

I think you decide, you get what you want. It looks good to me for a metric V-twin. 800cc is more than enough, buy what you are inclined and do not listen to any GIRL BIKE comments whomever they may come from! You are riding it and you are paying for it, buy what you want.

If you do get it, we expect to see pictures :)

Nice looking motorcycle. I have two friends I ride with that have the Suzuki C50 Boulevardes. Nice motorcycles, they seem to ride well, and are not too expensive. Buy it and enjoy, just be safe and watch out for the cagers!

Cruisers. Meh. Not until I can get a Harley. Everything else is just...trying to be a Harley. Except for the Honda Rune, that's a bad scoot.

Goa the sig annoys the piss out of me, and I am not sure why. It's not the actual lyrics to the song, so what the fuck does it really mean?

Yakov Smirnov used to do a comedy routine where he'd say something like "In Soviet Russia, TV watches you"

Yes, Goa's taken his style and made it even less funny. I didn't think that was possible.

You mean the original Jules Winnfield? Funny, because I also posted with that...
