User Interface?

hey,
ive got a problem when i wanna use mods:
always when i wanna start a mod, the console opens and shows me :
User Interface is version 4, expected 3
what do i have to do, when i wanna start mods?

and one more question: how to get a railjump on an own server?
i mean, i want, that i fly high, when i shot on the ground with a railgun

id like to get answers :)

What version number do you see in the bottom right corner do you see in the console in Q3? If you installed the 1.32 pointrelease correctly, it says 1.32 in the console.

urr... i tried to reinstall and install again before patching, but now it's again "User Interface is version 4, expected 3", even when i wanna start q3a normal

You're messing up the patches wrongly somewhere along the way.

All you need are the CD installation of Q3 and the 1.32 patch. You do not need anything else.

Install Q3 from the CD into the default folder
Install the patch into the SAME folder

Second method:

Install Q3 fresh to a folder.

Install the patch to a seperate, blank folder.

Copy the patch files into the quake 3 folder (overwriting quake3.exe and anything else it asks to overwrite).

Give that a go.
