I'm a 19 year old college student - meaning when I buy beer for myself and the guys I live with for dorm room drinking, I drink shitty, cheap beer. For instance, I just picked up two twelve packs of Keystone Ice for $14 total.

Now my question, I've always heard Keystone is the beer that's not good enough to be bottled as Coors. and Milwaukee's Best is the beer that's not good enough to be bottled as Miller. Any truth to that?
Don't know if it's a rumor or not, but I know Keystone is brewed at the Coors Brewing Co, and Milwaukee's Best is brewed at the Miller Brewing Co.

And yes I'm aware that most everyone despises domestic beer and considers Bud, Miller, and Coors piss water so if what I drink isn't good enough for those, then I'm drinking really cheap shit - but that's the point.
I only buy imports at bars, good hard alcohol at clubs (henny +hypnotic = Incredible Hulk), but for dorms it's $12 handles of Gilby's gin or 5ths of 151 and cheap, cheap beer.

If my only option was to drink the stale, piss beer you drink, I'd go sober.

lol, I usually only drink in the dorm before going out, get a little buzz before I get to the bar/club/party whatever.

Besides, it's by choice. I make sacrifices here and there (like buying shit alcohol) and can go out more often. I work and get paid well, so I can afford to go out every night of the week, just really depends on if I gamble or not and how I do.

And do you remember being a kid at college parties? You have to get used to the cheap shit.

bud light and other piss beers are soley for getting drunk. I drink good beers for the love of the beer.

I tried getting drunk on killian's, it wasn't fun. bud goes down like water.

I'm drinking Shiner Bock right now. I tried drinking a Bud Light a couple weeks ago. I can't go back to that shit. It tastes horrible now. I can do some Michelobs, but that's about it. I'm tired of drinking cheap beer.

Oh and yeah, Bud is the shit not good enough to make it into the Michelob bottles etc...

That's the only thing I hate about going to Vegas... Having to drink shit American beer. I usually end up with MGD. I find it tastes the least shitty. But that's still not saying much...

I've lost my interest in the major beer companies for sure.

You'd be surprised at the quality of a lot of American microbrews. Don't judge us by Budweiser alone.

Yeah, I had to leave Vegas this morning at 5 am and come to California for the summer. But I'd much rather drink cheap shit there if it means being able to buy it 24 hours in a town that never sleeps.

It's going to take awhile to get used to ending my night at 2 am...where as in Vegas I usually wouldn't even start until around midnight.
