So my trusty inkjetprinter of 2920 earth rotations old finally broke down. Suffice to say, I need a new one. It will be used for average printing and i'm looking for a compromise between pricetag, quality and what bugged me the most, ink consumption.
It will not be used for high quality color photo printing but color is necessary, if a scanner could be included it would be nice but it isn't a must.
What do I want, laserprinter or inkjet? Brands or types I have to look out for?
What do you guys recommend?

Laser is great if money is not an obstacle. Otherwise look for mid range inkjet. Go for a seperate scanner, the combo units aren't worth the hassle.

Rly? The beefs I've seen are a part of the system fucking up and having to buy a whole new setup, and the cartridges for them typically being about twice the price compared to regular cartridges.

Had this one for 3 years and not a problem yet. But, yeah the ink is a little more.
