...any tricks tutorial? i've always wanted to be able to jump further, just like in those trick jumping movies. how do they do it?

Start here. They have instructions as well as demos available. Should be able to assist you with your jumping. Takes time but if you practice alot it will become 2nd hand nature to ya.

That link Bueller posted isn't great. The explanations are very brief. It takes a long time to learn basic things like strafejumping if you do it on your own, with only a description of the procedure and some demos. What works best is to have someone who can tell you who can show you what to do, and tell you what to do different when you don't do it right.
