Shopping for a controlller

I have a Macintosh with MacOS X Tiger and I would like to get something besides the mouse to play the game with. The mouse doesn't work too well when my hand gets sweaty. Would you fellow Mac (and PC) users make some recommendations as to what would be a good controller for playing Quake III and what to avoid? Thanks...

I think everyone here will say that nothing matches the keyboard + mouse combo. Get a mouse for your Mac that feels good when using it and stick to it. Any other input method gives you a significant disadvantage in the game.

I couldn't find any products on the link to youtube.com, just the video.

I've been using the mouse, but can't figure out how to configure the grappling hook. I have an Apple might mouse, but the button layout doesn't work with Quake too well. MacMall has two Diamondback mice that look like possibilities:

does anyone own these? There are no reviews there.

the obvious solution is to stop buying hardware through apple. any usb mouse will work fine with your mac, so get something from logitech or any other brand that you can actually walk into a store and test out in your hand. reviews don't mean much if it's not comfortable in your unique hand.

I have the one from the 2nd link, and the Razer Pro 1.6 (white and blue theme that fits Apple better). You can buy them from numerous shops so you don't need to get them from macmall.

I wound up getting the Razor Copperhead at Best Buy.
