I've never really understood this. Can someone please explain.

I'm not very good and mine is set to NONE.

(If Im correct) Your start health will be lower to much lower when you set handicap.

You should try it for a week or so, it's really good training! :icon25:

Edit: actually, let's say you set handicap 90.
You will start with 115 hp and it will slowly go down to 90.
The lower the handicap, the lower your starting HP will be.

with handicap at a value of between 1 and 100, your health will start to deplete until it reaches 1.

but the real effect of handicap is that it weakens your shots. If you use handicap 1, your shots will do virtually no damage.

handicap sets both your shot strength and your health capacity as a percentage of the maximum.

At handicap 100, your shots and health are at 100% capability.

At handicap 50, your shots do half the damage they should and you can only stock half the health you normally can. In effect, you have 25% of the strength you would normally, since you'll do half the damage and you'll die twice as fast.

By default, I think, handicap is set to none. Is this the same as 100%?

ah i didn't realize that ur health depleted to whatever value handicap was set to - makes sense now.
