You have 4 slots, can you put 2X 256 and 2X 128 or worst 3X 128, or 1X 128 and 2X 256? Is there anything you can do to your bios to accept them? Or is there a certain bios special that would accept it, or am I out off the field yet?

nowadays you can get away with almost all configurations.

As axbaby pointed out, yup. To make sure there will be no complications, try to have all your modules from the same company, for example Kingston. Remember Pete, it all depends on your motherboard.

On standard memory that almost never makes a difference. It starts to make a difference on dual channel configurations using high performance RAM.

Thanks, I really wanted to know if I could mix 128 with 256, 512.
If I have to do it in pair...

Hummm, pete.... i will try to make this as simple as possible for you.
The only ram that you need to worry about putting in pairs and etc is RD/Rambus ram.
SD, DDR, DDR2, etc do not need to worry about that at all.
and your computer has SD Ram, so you do not need to worry about mixing the pairs and etc..
SOME times with SD mobo's and etc, they dont like if you put a Single sidded stick along with a Twin sided stick.
thats all you need to worry about, not upgrade that shit mang

Thanks again, but then I have to play with the bios?
