1. Super Mario Kart DS
2. Lost Magic
3. Metriod Prime Hunters
4. New Super Mario Bros.

If you have a couple of friends with DS, get Big Brain Academy, fun little teaser game to play with a couple of friends. Improve brain "weight" too!
If you like strategy games, Advance Wars: Dual Strike is a good choice too.

I've been playing Dr Kawashima's Brain Training on my brothers DS, quite good
