I downloaded the 1.32c patch, but when I get info on it, it says that it's version 1.32b. Although the link on the idsoftware.com refers to the 1.32c patch.


Can someone please explain this to me?

maybe they forgot to update the version strings when compiling the new version. I dont use the new version myself, so I cannot be sure this is a universal problem. Are you certain you're downloading the 1.32c version and not grabbing the 1.32b version accidentally?

Load Q3 and go into the console. At the bottom it should give another version number. See if that has been updated. Otherwise I'd just assume they didnt update the version string.

It's the correct one. Look at the modify date. May 2006. The last exe (1.32b) was modified in 2002 iirc, and maybe 2003-something for macs, I dunno.

Well, you're right, it says 1.32c in the console.
