hospital emergency rooms

Today I wanted to go to a paintball game that my friend organised, however yesterday I noticed that my eye hurt. It felt like an eyelash was stuck in it, but there was nothing there. The pain went away when I put in my contacts, so I just went to work and forgot about it. At night it bothered me, but if I closed my eyes and didn't open them, the pain went away, so I was fine.
We were supposed to meet at 6:30am, so I woke up around 5:30am and noticed that my eye hurt again. I saw that my eyelid was swolen, too. It was really annoying me, so I google eye infections and saw one that had the same symptoms that I was experiencing (periorbital cellulitis) so after some hesitation I decided that I should really not risk it and went to Lakeshore General Hospital. I arrived at 6:45am and I was out at 7:25am, having seen a doctor and having a prescription for some antibiotics in my hand The waiting room was completely empty at this time, so I barely read the book that I brought (needless to say I was expecting to be there for a while).
Anyway, what I want to say is that if you have an emergency, its better to have it early morning on Saturday
