Quake3World

Hi All,
I have now since last 2 days this error on my dedicated Quake3 server:

Sys_sendpacket:
Bad address type.

And then there is a game shutdown.

Never had it before.
It doesn't happen all the time.

Any ideas what it is and how to resolve this?

(I've been searching with google on the error but I didnt get any clue :icon23: )

google makes it look like a few things.

-bad address when quering server list .. some buttwad found a way to have quake3 ping and report a bad ip address

-google suggested using several sv_master

-it was a bug in quake3 code where it reported too many ip adress or ports making the packet too big or corrupt

Hi there,

Ive solved the problem,it was caused by a Hostname that had to much characters.

I hope anyone who has the same error this can help to solve it.:icon25:
