Quake3World

Im just starting to get into quake 3...And me and my friend are trying to connect to eachother my simulating a lan game via "hamachi"...it picks up the game and everything but once the player connects to the game he recieves a "game interrupted" message and is unable to play in the game...is their anyway i can fix this please help

if you can try another way of connecting your computers

hamachi sounds pretty cool but seems to me it's not a direct connection.
so perhaps that extra hop it has to make from your computer to hamachi server to your freinds computer is to blame.

try lowering your quake3 connection settings and see as a test if that helps

k thanx but how exactly do i lower the connection settings

you can setup your connection settings from within one of the quake3 menus.

click setup then system then network ..try ISDN
i blame hamachi .

hamachi is shit. use a server password and stop fucking around for the love of pete.

i use hamachi all the time, and it works out GREAT for me.

i guess its all about location... right?
