@Salinga
Slow down.
This map has not even been finished yet.
However there is no reason for me to reject your request in terms of advertisement of my map.
So keep your eyes open to this thread. :icon28:

O.K.
I'll upload a checking sheet for you to do beta-testing easily.
It will take a few days.

O.K.
Wait a minute.
I'll upload a better form for beta testing.
EDIT: DONE.
This is a form.
And
this is an example way of answering.

WTF is up with all the pdf files? They are totally unnecessary and do not benefit anyone, especially yourself if you are serious about getting your map beta tested. Just include a standard txt readme and let people beta test the map via posts on this forum. No pdf forms to fill out.
It's like you suddenly discovered Acrobat and think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

terrible presentation :/

BTW, the scale of your map is HUGE. You need to scale it down a good 2x or even 3x to make it somewhat playable.
I do like the textures, interesting look. Reminds me of this:

I like the look of the map; the black-and-white gives it a cool style. That being said, I'd consider maybe turning down the light a bit, only because the white is sort of blindingly bright. (or maybe making it slightly grayer?)
obsidian has a point about the scale of the map--it just feels way too big. The doors and the rooms and the sheer scale of the hallways feel off, and with the rooms being so big, it becomes more of a chore to travel around the map, since the hallways are then so long. It would be kind of a pain, but you could easily just scale all the regular brushwork down to .5 in a few seconds in radiant, and then the tough part would be repositioning all the entities, and resizing where necessary (doors/triggers/etc.). I really encourage it though.
More random thoughts, in no particular order (and, obviously, only my opinion):
-the BFG is way too easy to get.
-the MH placement is cool. I like it.
-there are a fair number of dead ends and also some places for a player to easily camp and rack up frags. The most obvious of the latter is to just sit in the room over RG and look down and skeet-shoot other players as they take the jumppad up.
-the pit under the hypo is sort of cruel.

Almost everyone will die there at least once...
-are you supposed to have to rocket jump to get the battlesuit? I might be missing something...
-I found a flag (red) in FFA mode?
-I wonder what a normal (colored) sky might look like if it were seen from a few windows here and there...it would have to be the right sky, though (and nope, I have no idea what the "right" sky might look like

).
-the readme should be named after the map. If you name it "readme" then everyone will either rename it, or it will be overwritten by the next "readme".
Oh, and re: the .pdfs for readme and screenshots--if you present information in a more unusual way, you're pretty much guaranteed to not reach as many people...
Hope this helps.

@roger & Anwulf
Please stop polluting my thread.
@obsidian
Posting your own screenshots @ someone others' map release thread is not my idea acceptable.
You should apologize to me.
@pjw
1stly this is not black-and-white but gray scale.
2ndly if you don't play it on unix, it looks too bright.
Non-fullscreen mode might help on win.
As for scaling I'll never change it.
Instead I'm currently placing some accelerator pads here and there as an accent.
I beleive most people would like this idea.
BFG placement is something of a joke but it won't hurt considering the scaling of this map.
I'll reply more later.
Thank you for your comments.

Your presentation is a fucking joke and your attitude is appalling.

Again, as with .pdf files, if you're making a map that's tweaked for unix and not windows, then you're not going to reach as many people, since they aren't going to go out of their way to treat the map in a special manner. Up to you.
The accel pads may help the scale issues.
Also, you are complaining about people who are not really doing anything wrong. This may be "your thread", but it's also on a public forum where people are free to make comments. I suspect you will gain more by being sociable than by trying to force people to interact with you in a specific way.

@pjw
I've been considering your words
"force people to interact with you in a specific way."
Conclusion:
Lack of vocabulary, my bad. :sigh:
On the other hand I have to admit my pdf presentation requires people to install unnecessary software.
