hey dudes. in quake 3 my name is K1LL3R :icon25: this is a screenshot of me coming 2nd place in a server with 128 frags. all frags none of it was points from getting a flag or anything. so here is the screenshot of me pwning every1:

hmm...i only play CTF...well i just go 2 server browser put CTF open player slots and only like 10...i just choose a random one wit ppl in it. im not that good lol i dunno wat happened dat game i jus never missed. u seem cool dzjepp do u have xfire or something so i can play wit you?

Stop playing baseq3 (regular) install Osp.

Download the Threewave ctf map packs at the bottom of this link, and put them in your baseq3 folder.

Find some Osp ctf servers and play there. : ]

I can hardly find any populated ctf servers in osp, so when I want to play ctf I play baseq3. OSP and cpma though are still must haves for 1v1.

Oh, and unnamed, try the a51 ctf server or the Thunder server.

Quake & Weed is a good Osp ctf server. House of Samurai is good, too. You just have to have gotten the password by going to the irc channel.

Speaking of House of Samurai, it's crowded right now. : ]

So I'm not sure what you're so proud of, since CTF is about CAPS and TEAMPLAY, not frags!
Show me a demo were you take care off and are usefull to your
team. Even make some nice caps. Then I'm impressed


Btw, nothing wrong with playing BaseQ IMHO.
In fact, BaseQ can be more relaxed and fun sometimes.
But ofcourse get OSP as well.

actually, Eh Nois nA FitA owned that match, not you.
i cant see anything to brag about,
guy with 203 ping gets 153 frags in 17 mins,
you have 66 ping and only manage 128 frags in 16 minutes

actually..i dunno wat happened i was getting 200 ping i was like wow im getting bad ping..den at end of round it jumped 2 60

about that Osp thing which Quake Folder do i put it in?

and y is "Osp" download taking an hour...

All the files will end up in c:\program files\quake iii arena\osp\
It's a mod, so it sits paralell to the standard game files which are in c:\program files\quake iii arena\baseq3\

the download is complete...no it doesnt just go to a file...so all i do is put it on quake3 file and it'll go 2 osp or w/e?

What is the file name you downloaded?

the name is just Osp.

So you downloaded a file called 'osp'.

No .exe or .zip.

Right.

it was zip. so i unzipped it and put it in the Quake3 folder and its fine. now my problem is the mappacks. i click on Pack 1 and it brings me 2 another link with a blank page -_-
