31 x 50$ = 1550$

and assuming a playtime of ~ 20h each game:

31 x 20h = 26 days

jesus rode down on don king and said "this my brothers and sisters is the number 20 and note, that from this day forward it shall be used in every mathmatical equation"

and thus it was so....

Wh.. what if it turns out to be just a cardboard box with some grass in it? Would you buy it then? mm?

That doesn't sound so great. Not a great driving experience.

Still I suppose.. you get some grass. Which you can keep.

The Godfather will just be the same old version but with a few nicer textures I bet... That game was awful. Tried to be GTA in every way it could be failed so much...

Speaking of grass, anybody remember Fifa 2001 on the PSOne with the disk you could scratch to get that grass smell...? What the fuck :olo:

There are exactly 3 titles on that list that'll be good/great in 2006:

Splinter cell 4
Gears of war
Rainbow six: Vegas

The rest is meh. Another slew of tired racing games, Shitty games based on a movie property (The Godfather), Rip-offs of other games that won't be as good (Saint's Row), Franchises that used to be good but are in the process of being milked to death (Call of Duty 3), And high concept games that look decent but are sure to suck (Dead rising)?

Mark my word: 80% of those games will suck or be merely average.

Gears of War in particular will be great. But don't pretend the 360 has an extreme amount of great games, especially not with the drought that's been around for 3 months.

Seriously, if you like MechWarrior then you will like Chromehounds. It's seriously fucking fun.
I went and picked CH and Prey up on Friday. I must say that I am rather unimpressed by Prey.

Your kidding me? Your saying that Mass Effect doesn't interest you at all? Not even BioShock, which looks to be the best game coming out pretty much EVAR?

Whatever, you say that about most new games...

Since Tomb Raider Legend isn't on the 2006 list, I'm leaving this thread

But I have it for PC :)

how odd

Im gonan have to say that I never liked Chromehounds... Its just very odd for me, i didn't think it was that nice to look at, i didn't like the odd aiming and i thought it was slow as hell, movement style...

But thats just me and that WAS with the demo. Same with LotR:BFME2. I cant STAND it, its slow, ugly, the shadows on models look like PSOne graphics and the control is a mess...

I suppose those are just not my kind of games... Im still a bit pissed they haven't bothered adding mouse/keyboard support to any new games yet, you know, its not like the 360 is lacking the ports is it...

I don't know what you're talking about re: the aiming. It's just like any other mech game.
I will admit that it's a bit slow, but that's really part of what makes the tactical side of the game so fun. As soon as you get hooked up with a good clan you're rocking.

As for the shadows I'm not really sure what to say since I havn't noticed them. I think the graphics are great though.

It's the sheer level of customization and the online persistant "war" that makes this game so great. I can't wait to go home and try it.

Then again, I'm a complete shill for the game.

i must admit that it sounds a lot more interesting online. i played the demo and i didnt even feel the need to finish the map (i did though).

Shadows was LotR, not CH. In LotR the shadows are made up of 5"x5" blocks lol. It usually wouldn't bother me but they are so bad its laughable.

As for CH's aiming, its the little box top right that gets in the way for me. Not a real crosshair. Buit those arn't really my kind of games so thats probably just normal.
