Looking for a specific texture

I've been searching through some texture packs but I haven't found what I'm looking for. I figured I would post a topic about it and hopefully get a push in the right direction. So come on guys, help me out a bit please!

I'm looking for a liquid texture. Doesn't have to be swimmable as long as I can use it in cylinders. It would be great if it emitted light. It has to be blueish. Preferably light blueish and not moving. Below you'll find an example of what I'm looking for. Doesn't have to be exactly the same but it does give an impression.

Thanks in advance

Dude, take that texture, hue shift it to blue in photoshop/PSP, then write a shader for it that emits light.

Score.

Seems like a perfect opportunity to learn. I can walk you through on IM if you need.

That is one ugly texture, you should make a tank with subtle bubles and a light transparency....

Oh, so looking at a bunch of code, with nothing completely similiar to what Hipshot describes, will tell me how to make a texture/shader from scratch, simulating bubbles in a tank which is transparent?

worked for me. Moreso coupled with the shader manual.

Yeah, what happend to that? I heard it was hosted somewhere else now?

To be honest, I just wanted a premade texture and shader because I don't have time to go into all of that. Well I gues I have to.

Shader Manual mirror.

It's good to learn how to make your own textures and shaders anyway. It really opens up the door for what you can do visually on your own map.

Lycos sucks. But thanks for the link. Want me to mirror it at leveldesign.nl?

No, thanks. I'm working on moving it to a new permanent home.

Somehow the link to the Lycos Shader Manual doesn't work for me :/

Here's another one, posted somewhere on this exact forum ;)
