I wanna try q3 on my new laptop, need to set the res to 1280x768, all the console command sites are dead. Help please.

r_mode

so for 1024 it's r_mode 6

for 640 it's r_mode 3

im sure the config.cfg has custom x and y values.

i think you can .. but its not widescreen, its stretched screen (i.e. you wont get a wider fov)
