help with q3 bots please!

does anyone know a q3 bot command that makes bots just sit still (idle) and not move?
i need it to memorize spwn kills ; ive looked and looked for such a command and nothing comes close to it:P
if anyone has a mod that will do the same thing that would be fine as well

If you want the bots to stand still...that can be done. If you want to know how to find spawnpoints, download Cpma and load up whatever map it is...and it shows the shadows of your player on the spawnpoints. Getting them to stand still on spawnpoints is difficult.

To get bots to stand still...type in console:


\devmap q3dm1 (or whatever map you want)

\bot_pause "1"



-if you don't have g_inactivity at "0", the bots will get kicked for standing still.

I've done all this to take screenshots of bot skins for example.

it says that the bot_pause command is cheat protected
if it helps to know, im using cpma 1.35 on practice mode
if you can come up with a workaround plz tell me i need to do more than memorize them, i need to find good listening spots for them

PUT THEM ON LITTLE BOXES AND HAVE LAVA AROUND THE BOXES THATLL TEACH THEM NOT TO MOVE HAHA

It says bot_pause is cheat protected, because you didn't type devmap (mapname). Devmap enables cheats.

the only part that didnt work was the g_inactivity thing
i typed
\g_inactivity "0"
but the bots still timed out:P

Or simply load any map with cpma. :p

The easiest mod that will allow you to see everything in a map...including spawnpoints and items is Qfrag.

In console type \enable_editor 1


Then type "editor", then you'll see everything.

He put d!ablo into Qfrag.....(if any of you remember that mod), which enables the ability to make a .map for a map to personalize weapon layout...spawn...etc.
